smelling that yummy newborn scent

kissing those soft cheeks

seeing the little girl I had been carrying and dreaming about for 9 months..

These moments mean the world to me.

Mama.

I can't believe the time has come. 

The time where I hear mama from MY own child. Hearing mama meaning ME!

 I'm a mom and I could listen to my son say it all day long and NEVER get tired of it.

Although, dada is still his favorite and he says it all day long,
my heart still skips a beat hearing that little baby voice say this short little word for me every now and then.

I wouldn't change this roll of being a mother for the world. 

I now have a new name, Mama, and I love it.

^^^While this guy right here seems to think sitting up is for all the other babies out there, ^^^

he has been cruising around scooting and getting into all of mama's things
So I decided to bring in some little friends to help him SIT!

Don't get me wrong, I DO love watching that little army crawl of his and seeing how infatuated he is with every door stopper and drawer in sight. He is one BUSY guy and I already have my hands full!

With his 7 month birthday just around the corner I am amazed with how quickly he learns and grows!

I am proud of you big boy!

He is sooo fast! Before we know it he is at the other end of the room, getting into things he shouldn't, pulling my hair out of my head, grabbing our noses, pulling out the drawers, throwing sweet kisses here and there, eating that baby food like its nobodies business and putting everything in that mouth for a taste. Which means.... We are in the process of baby proofing this place!

Over Presidents Day weekend we took a little family vaca to St George, Utah.

It was clear skies, warm weather and so nice to get away from the snowy ice cold weather here in Salt Lake City.

Even though I had a little cold during our 3 day weekend, it was nice to get away and spend some time with family.

Noah has started to say dada and while we were out of town this became his favorite thing to say all day long! It is SO exciting listening to his first baby words and made that dada of his proud! He also took his first swim and first walk to the park. He was talking and giggling the whole time with his big blue eyes as wide as could be. He took in all that he could until he zonked right out on the walk back to the condo.

We are beyond excited to say goodbye to this cold winter and hello to spring here in a few short months!

one day Noah decided to jump like a wild little kangaroo every time he would stand on our legs 

so I took a little trip to the store and came back with one of these.

I'm pretty sure it became his favorite toy at that very moment.

With Chandler going to school full time, working full time and me being a full time mommy it feels as though our days are all becoming one BIG blur. We miss seeing that dada around and wish we could more often! I am unbelievably proud of this hard working man of mine. And even if we only see each other for an hour or two at night before we are completely exhausted and its bedtime, watching him simply read a book to our son and giving me a big kiss goodnight is all I need.

Noah man!

You are such a happy boy who loves to talk and talk and talk! 

You absolutely LOVE your name and understand when it is said to you.

You are getting to be a very busy guy who scoots and rolls all over the place. Today was your very first "real" time rolling from your back to your tummy and we got it on video!

You have discovered your toesies and love to grab those feet and pull them to your mouth.

Mornings are the happiest waking up to your sweet little voice talking or laughing waiting for us to get up with you. You love to cuddle with mama and dad in bed and touch our faces or hold our hands

until you fall asleep. Bath time is still something you love and I am sure it will only get to be more

of your favorite thing!

You are still so interested in food and want to try it sooo bad, only one more month!

You love to walk around and look at new things.

I love how much you try to talk through your frustrations instead of crying until you get

what you want/need. You've been blowing bubbles like crazy and soaking your chin

in spit.

Sometimes you start your very own baby conversations that last about 15 minutes and

it cracks us up. You are getting really good at grabbing your toys, feet, our hands, mama's hair and sometimes your very own hair. When you grab your hair you cry because you can't let go of it :)

You love music and you are loving being read to.

You are a very curious baby and when you want something you pucker your lips and crunch your

eyebrows while trying your hardest to get it in your hands or mouth.

I can tell you want to crawl so badly! 

So we will have to work on that and you sitting on your own.

What could possibly be better than a cold winter day in bed with my littles?

 Only thing missing is having that fun dada around.
Just a couple more hours till he gets home!

But until then we will be taking little naps here and there,
maybe listen to some christmas music and
stay bundled in our warm blankets as we watch the snow fall to that cold winter ground.

haapy 4 months.

To our Noah!

My baby is 4 months!? are you serrrrious??? Oh my goodness we love him!
Noah is now sitting in his bumbo and starting to grab toys! He is so interested in everything around. We just wants to grab everything and put it in his mouth. He LOVES patterns. Any pattern he see's he just stares and tries his hardest to get to it. He has to sleep on the most boring looking sheets and blankets because if they have anything on them he just stares at them and wont fall asleep haha. Noah loves sucking on his hands and tries to get his whole fist in there. He likes to bite on things too so I am wondering if he's soon going to be teething. Lately I've caught him with his two middle fingers in his mouth which is hilarious because I sucked on my two middle fingers as a baby.
This little guy wants to eat our food so bad! I was going to wait 6 months to start him on rice cereal but he acts so ready so I just might have to start feeding him at 5 months. Every time we put our food in our mouth he follows it with his eyes and opens his mouth. It makes us feel so bad!
Noah is such a talker. He talks talks and talks! Sometimes at church he talks so loud and for so long that I have to leave the meetings. It is sooo funny! He also loves to sing. When there is music playing he goes crazy. He just loves his voice! Noah also tries to talk through being sad instead of crying. It is the sweetest thing. He is one tough baby boy!
He is a mover. He loves to be standing up and he has been trying so hard to roll from his back to his tummy. when he's on his tummy he seems to move far from scooting his way around somehow! We now have to be careful leaving him on any high surfaces.
Noahs hair is getting so long. The other day my dad told me I need to cut it and I was like 'ummm, never dad!' We are letting his hair grow loooong! We love to style it too :)
He loves to raise his eyebrows and smile at everyone. He especially loves little kids and gets so excited when they are around.
Noah still loves pulling his blanket up to his face when he sleeps and it is the funniest thing. We will take it down and he'll just keep putting it up. He is such a cuddle baby!
