a day of winter.

Over the weekend we took a little family drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon. The view was perfect with all the fall colors and big pine tree's which are my favorite. We reached a point where it was fall on one side and winter on the other. We weren't expecting to see so much snow! We found a cute little place called Silver Lake and got out of the car to walk around. It was a fun day just with my boys.

^^^ This little face kills me. Noah loved the snow. He was so curious about it. It's fun to watch his reaction and to see his eyes light up when he see's something new to him. Like this white fluffy stuff. What would it feel like to see that for the first time? It must have been a fun experience for him, I hope. ^^^

^^^ His favorite part of our little trip was hitting the snow off of the tree branches. He didn't like it when we had to take him away. His little hands were just getting too cold. ^^^

^^^ That cute little red button nose and rosy cheeks. I love him so! ^^^

^^^ Standing on snow for the first time. We just can't get over these Freshly Picked Moccs. We wish we could have a pair in every color! ^^^

^^^ They like to scare me all the time with this little flying baby trick. I think I just sit there and hold my breath every time. ^^^

Hello fall. Or Winter? I guess both. Please be good to us this year! I hear its suppose to be a cold one. I'm not too excited about that! But I'm definitely looking forward to the Holidays coming up!

my better half.

Yesterday marked 4 years since my Chan stole my heart. I remember our first date, he took me on a drive to see the Alpine Loop since I had never been and really wanted to go.
It was a perfect October fall day and we had no clue where we'd be now.
I remember just talking about the little things in our lives that had gotten us to where we were that day. Times that made us happy, times that made us sad, things we love and everything in-between. It's like one of those cheesy moments where I can say, I felt like I had known him forever
He has this way about him, a tenderness that radiates and makes you feel so calm, so safe and so comfortable while around him and I love that so much. I love how understanding he is, how caring he is towards all things, how great of a listener he is, the amazing husband he is and the sweetest dad he is to our Noah. Noah is so lucky. I am so lucky. We love him so so much!
I don't remember what life was like without him. But I do know that he has made me the happiest.

I love you, Chan.

Aaa DaDaDa.

Over Presidents Day weekend we took a little family vaca to St George, Utah.
It was clear skies, warm weather and so nice to get away from the snowy ice cold weather here in Salt Lake City.
Even though I had a little cold during our 3 day weekend, it was nice to get away and spend some time with family.

Noah has started to say dada and while we were out of town this became his favorite thing to say all day long! It is SO exciting listening to his first baby words and made that dada of his proud! He also took his first swim and first walk to the park. He was talking and giggling the whole time with his big blue eyes as wide as could be. He took in all that he could until he zonked right out on the walk back to the condo.

We are beyond excited to say goodbye to this cold winter and hello to spring here in a few short months!

American Fork Canyon.

On Saturday we went for a drive up the American Fork canyon with Amber and Joe. The snow was beautiful and it was freezing! So Noah stayed warm and cozy in the truck the whole time. Chandler and I have always loved going to Tibble Fork together. It's been a while since we've been able to so we were excited to go and spend time with his parents!
