For my 6 month old baby boy!

Could it really be so? Is my baby boy really half a year old? And what better way to celebrate then taking him on his very first Carousel ride! He absolutely loved every second of it, so we couldn't go just once, but TWICE!

These past 6 months have been the best 6 months! Noah is a blessing, our sweet blessing. We love him oh so much and can't get enough! He has started eating solids, is rolling all over the place, scooting, babbling about everything and anything and so close to sitting on his own! I couldn't imagine my life without you.

haapy 4 months.

To our Noah!

My baby is 4 months!? are you serrrrious??? Oh my goodness we love him!
Noah is now sitting in his bumbo and starting to grab toys! He is so interested in everything around. We just wants to grab everything and put it in his mouth. He LOVES patterns. Any pattern he see's he just stares and tries his hardest to get to it. He has to sleep on the most boring looking sheets and blankets because if they have anything on them he just stares at them and wont fall asleep haha. Noah loves sucking on his hands and tries to get his whole fist in there. He likes to bite on things too so I am wondering if he's soon going to be teething. Lately I've caught him with his two middle fingers in his mouth which is hilarious because I sucked on my two middle fingers as a baby.
This little guy wants to eat our food so bad! I was going to wait 6 months to start him on rice cereal but he acts so ready so I just might have to start feeding him at 5 months. Every time we put our food in our mouth he follows it with his eyes and opens his mouth. It makes us feel so bad!
Noah is such a talker. He talks talks and talks! Sometimes at church he talks so loud and for so long that I have to leave the meetings. It is sooo funny! He also loves to sing. When there is music playing he goes crazy. He just loves his voice! Noah also tries to talk through being sad instead of crying. It is the sweetest thing. He is one tough baby boy!
He is a mover. He loves to be standing up and he has been trying so hard to roll from his back to his tummy. when he's on his tummy he seems to move far from scooting his way around somehow! We now have to be careful leaving him on any high surfaces.
Noahs hair is getting so long. The other day my dad told me I need to cut it and I was like 'ummm, never dad!' We are letting his hair grow loooong! We love to style it too :)
He loves to raise his eyebrows and smile at everyone. He especially loves little kids and gets so excited when they are around.
Noah still loves pulling his blanket up to his face when he sleeps and it is the funniest thing. We will take it down and he'll just keep putting it up. He is such a cuddle baby!

3 months.

This little guy turned 3 months on the 8th of this month!

We love seeing him learn new things!

Noah loves his sleep which means I get to sleep at night but a month ago he moved out of our room to his very own room and big crib. It was a bitter sweet moment for me, but he has loved sleeping in his room and I feel like we all get better sleep that way. Noah has a routine everyday that he has pretty much decided on his own and it just happens to work out perfect for us!

Noah takes a bedtime bath every night. We learned early on that this helps him sleep best so we've stuck to it and it has become one of his most favorite things!

He will have a bath around 8:00pm and after we will dry him off and massage his legs and arms with

lotion, put his jammies on, brush his hair and then he will nurse. 

We will have a little time with him before he falls asleep right at 9 o'clock! Noah will then sleep until 5:00am and wake to nurse then fall back to sleep.

I will wake Noah up at 7:30 to get him ready for the day and head to work. He still takes many naps throughout the day and I'm trying to figure out a good day routine that works for him.

Noah has been rolling over from tummy to back a lot and will turn from his back to his side.

He loves to suck on his hands lately and it is so cute and he also loves to hold his blankets up to his face. He is a busy boy but he is also a cuddly one.

He will nestle his nose into us which means he just wants to snuggle and i love it. He still loves having his hands up to his face or our face against his. He has started to giggle and is coo-ing so much!

Noah loves to take everything in so he likes when we walk him around and show him things.

He loves the bright lights and isn't a fan of the dark except when he's sleeping. He has gotten really good at recognizing people and loves to talk to everyone! He has been holding his head up so well and tries very hard to lift it up on his own while he's laying on our lap or on the floor. Pretty soon he will be able to sit in his bumbo and I'm so excited! He will always try to stand on his legs like a big boy and as much as i try to not let him do that (since his bones are still soft) he always finds a way!

Oh, and I can't forget! He LOVES to hold his hands. One of the sweetest things ever! I'll always find him asleep in his carseat, crib or just hanging out holding his hands and it melts my heart.

Noah's first month.

It is definitely an adjustment being parents for the first time, but we have been so blessed with Noah.
Here is him having his first bath at home the night we got home from the hospital.
I was so stressed giving him this bath with his dad. He does not like being cold one bit so sponge baths are definitely not his fave.

he has such a long body! long arms, long legs, long torso, long fingers and even long feet and toes.
he is always stretching that tired body!

after leaving the hospital we went to visit grandma laura.
and we got a speeding ticket on the way home... boo

this is Noah at 4:00am after a feeding.
Noah will wake up for one or two feedings in the night and fall right back to sleep.
I love this time with him. It's so hard for me to sleep sometimes because I just want to hold him and soak in this newborn stage as much as possible!

they say babies only smile this early out of reflex... but i know my baby dreams of heaven because he is ALWAYS giggling and smiling in his sleep.

Chandler and I have wavy thick hair and Noah's is always straight and fluffy except for bath time. isn't it sooo cute? I think his hair will have wave to it the more it grows in

3 week old baby boy!

oh my goodness.

I can't believe my little peanut is three weeks old today!

my oh my, has he stollen our hearts.

These last three weeks have been very different over here in our home and we couldn't be more happy and thankful!

We have the sweetest baby who continues to melt our hearts with every little coo, stretch, smirk and smile.

his eyes are beautiful and I could just stare at him all day long.

He sleeps through the night and wakes once to eat and have a diaper change 

and when you'd think i'd like more sleep this so happens to be one of my favorite times with him.

He has a lot of hair which means he gets some serious bed head and it cracks me up.

Noah hates his sponge baths but loooves his big boy baths in his little tub. After having his hair washed it gets so curly till it dries and then its just straight and super puffy.

Noah loves to fall asleep with his face against mine at night and I just love that.

He loves his dad so much and is always alert when he's around. 

Every sound he makes puts a smile on our face.

When he sneezes its probably the cutest thing in the world and he usually sneezes twice in a row 

like his daddy.

Noah loves to be sang to and I love to sing to him. 

He has a dimple on his left cheek just like me that shows up whenever he smiles or makes his little side smirk.

He does not like to be undressed or changed because he loves to be cozy and warm at all times.

he loves to cuddle his mommy and daddy and he loves to eat eat eat!

he loves to hear our voices and is starting to follow us as we talk to him or are around him.

he loves lights and he hates the dark so I have to let him fall asleep before turning out the lights.

he loves to move his arms around and loves to keep his hands by his face at all times.

he tries so hard to be a big boy and we are so proud of him.

Noah now weighs 9.5 and is 24 inches long.

he's a good boy growing fast and strong :)
